Tagline: A wizard's love potions got mixed up. The whole town is falling for the wrong people. They'll fight anyone who gets in the way.
The Hook
The wedding of the season is about to become the disaster of the decade.
When the party arrives in the charming village of Honeybrook, they expect celebration. Instead, they find pandemonium. The baker is cradling a goat and threatening anyone who looks at it wrong. The blacksmith whispers sweet nothings to a wheelbarrow. The bride is composing sonnets to the town drunk. And the groom? He's introduced a scarecrow to his mother.
Someone sabotaged the love potions. As the chaos spreads and the clock ticks toward the wedding hour, the players must investigate the source, navigate combat with enchanted innocents (and their surprisingly aggressive "beloveds"), and discover a truth that's more heartbreaking than hilarious: the culprit is a lonely apprentice who just wanted to be noticed by the woman they've loved for three years.
What Players Will Experience
Love Potion Commotion is a 3-4 hour one-shot that blends romantic comedy with genuine emotional stakes. Your players will laugh at the absurdity, fight enchanted armor that's fallen in love with itself, and ultimately face a choice with no easy answer: What do you do with someone whose only crime was loving too much?
Think The Princess Bride meets A Midsummer Night's Dream -- with dice. Investigation mechanics reward creative thinking, five different endings ensure player choices matter, and the sympathetic antagonist at the heart of it all will leave your table debating long after the session ends.
